Bluebell is a blue-haired butterfly fairy child who is one of the main characters of the Butterfly Valley franchise.
Appearance[]
When first met, she is a wingless fairy who turns into a fuzzy caterpillar. Like all fairies in the show, her eyes are represented by black circles.
In the 1969 episode "Bluebell Gets Her Wings," she becomes a blue-winged butterfly fairy who turns into a blue-winged butterfly. However, she is rarely shown as a caterpillar or butterfly and is most often seen in her fairy form.
She always wears white mittens, no matter what she is doing. She also wears a blue poncho with green trimmings.
In the 1998 series, Bluebell wears a 60s-styled flipped ends hairstyle and now wears a blue dress with a green collar and green Mary Janes. Her hat is now made with two leaves glued to an acorn cupule.
Personality[]
She is a curious young girl who is always very playful, but also very cautious and often overly worried.
